Thanks for finding Jon Jiles Music!

I spent the better part of my younger years chasing the elusive major label deal and after a few promising flirtations, I finally accepted the fact that the music industry actually was generally as corrupt as advertised. As a result, I stopped chasing A&R guys around, cashed in the rock star dream and kind of lost my reason for making music.

The internet has long since crushed the old music industry model and while it’s taken me a good long while to take advantage of it, I’ve come to understand that if I want my music (as well as the fine musicians, engineers and others that helped me create it) to be heard, it’s my responsibility to make it available. I’ve also come to realize that anyone here checking out the music is my real reason to keep creating. Which means adding to this archive (and that includes both the old and new) as I can.

So, it’s taken a few years to get what I thought might be entertaining up here. I hope you enjoy it! I promise not to make you wait as long going forward.
